hi

MY BOARD IS 945p-s3 gigabyte and i have a WD 160GB (SATA 2) HD.
EVEREST + SANDRA + HD TUNE TELLS ME THAT MY HARD DRIVE RUNS AT UDMA 5 (ATA 100).

HOW CAN I FIX IT TO BE ATA 300(SATA 2)

THANKS

Your controller must be in AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface) or RAID mode in order to get full SATA speeds and functions.

This can be swtiched in your BIOS.

Note that you will have to reinstall windows (with an "F6" driver disk) if you change this.

First of all turn off your caps lock, you look like an idiot. Secondly there is no such thing as SATA 2. Thirdly I've never seen any program recognize the SATA mode right, if it works just fine leave it be.
