please help!!
we have a standalone win2k server non domain member that I cannot log in
using administrator.. either the password appears to have been documented
incorectly or someone changed it and not willing to owe up.
Can anyone recommend good software to purchase / or freeware even I can use
to 'view/change' the password on this box.. if can do so without rebooting
server then even better.

How can I gain access to a Windows 2000/XP/NT computer if I forgot the
administrator's password? How can I reset the administrator's password if I
forgot it?

I'm not certain where you could find it, but there is a forensics util called
pwdcrack. I think it's a listsoft product. I've used is before and it's
very easy to use.
