Monitor / Graphics question ... any 1920x1200 COD2 players?

What would you recommend for the best COD2 gameplay experience as far as lcd monitor?

Mainly looking at a 24" 1920x1200 @ 5ms, but I have 2 concerns:

At 1920x1200, what kind of setup am I going to need for smooth gameplay w/ awesome settings? 8800 ...GTX? GTS SLI? GTX SLI?

Is 24" too big? I've played console FPS before (halo) and it seemed that I had to sit close to the tv, and that when playing solo anything over 20" was too much to focus on at one time and my performance suffered.

At that resolution, you're going to want at least one 8800GTX, if not two. If you can wait another few weeks, ATI's new X2900XTX should show up and it's likely that it will outperform the 8800GTX.

I was planning on it, but I wasn't exactly impressed by the leaked benchmark if accurate. For my particular game, the improvement was a marginal 4.8% or less than 2 FPS.

tests on the ati card shoe it to be about the same and alot more money!

bigger is better with gaming lcd's - u be fine with 1 gtx

Yeah, those are fake; I'd say a single 8800GTX should be the minimum for gaming at that resolution.
