Pick the E6400. The 8800GTS in 640MB form is available at Newegg for only about $35 more after rebate. It's worth a look.
I am not familiar with that model of Thermaltake. Make sure it has the right cable pinouts for your mobo and videocard.

The PSU will support your configuration as listed. It will not support a second videocard in SLI mode that the motherboard will allow. If you never plan to run SLI this will not matter.
As a gamer I believe it is inevitable that you will soon be using Microsoft Vista. The 8800 is DX10 compatible, the 7950 is not. Go with the 8800 if you have the cash, even if you will be using XP for now.

good advice, and also double check if ur game will run in vista at the game web site.

i got the AsusP5N32-E SLI instead of the P5N-E SLI because i preferred a 680 chipset

If you plan to really overclock that E6400, get 6400 ram @ 4-4-4-12 timings, it would be a shame to not get the full benefit from it :)

Go with the 8800 GTS and since your not overclocking go with the Kingston RAM because I never heard of Transcend RAM and I am not sure how reliable that RAM is. As for the PSU why not go with 500W or 600W just to make sure you have plenty of power left.

make sure that P5N board isint the crappy 570/590 hybrid and is the full 680 ref board as the P5N32-E SLI is, apparently the P5N32-E plus board is the crappy hybrid!!!!

For the GPU, its upto you and how soon you need it, if i was smart i wouldnt buy an nvidia 8 series board now id wait until end of may when ati release the R600( it will bring the price of nvidia boards down ), but usually i get stupid and go for broke :)

If you are going to buy an 8 series board now id get an 8800GTS, if cash is a problem buy the 320meg version its only really high res textures or high resolutions with AA that cause problems with performance due to the lower memory
