only one IDE slot

I just bought a biostar mobo and it has only one Ide slot, I have to three drives, one sata HD, one DVD burner and one DVD rom. I would have to hook up the burner and rom on the same channel. Is this going to cause problems?. Could I use a maxtor ultra ATA/133 pci adapter card to hook up the other rom or is that a waste of time? Thanks Bruce

You'll be fine. I just built a rig for a friend with both optical drives in the IDE, and 2 HDDs on SATA channels.
