some help with xp pro 64

seems ive run into a bit of an issue...
i have a k8n which has a dead net card on it.
I went through my entire colection of cards and could not really get anything to work properly with xp 64

however i did manage to load up a much older 3com card i have
3cr990 tx 97
all tho the driver is not completly compatable...
i believe it may bre responcible for a few random lockups that the machine has...

does anyone out there have experience with xp 64 for amd
if so are there any standalone ethernet non wireless cards that would work here?
or does ayone out there know if there is a more compatable modified driver for the 3com card i have, it used to be a common carad
