How to define user-group restrctions?

Hi
How can I restrict a specific user group's rigths to modify internet
explorer's settings? E.g. allowing administrator-group to modify
proxy-setting, but denying that from all the other users? Can anyone give me
step-by-step instructions?

If you are in a domain environment you can use Group Policy. Either put the
users you want to restrict into their own Organizational Unit with it's own
Group Policy or create a Group Policy at the domain level [or the OU where
your user accounts reside if not default user container] and "filter" it so
that it applies to only users that are in a global group you create. Group
Policy will only apply to users/groups that have the "apply Group Policy"
permission in the GPO properties for security. The settings you want to
apply are under "user configuration"/administrative templates/Windows
components/Internet Explorer/internet control panel. The link below explains
