[PW!] Black Gyms and White Knuckles

It was a calm afternoon, and yet the half of the Search Party that headed
to Dewford were anything but calm. After dealing with either lecherous
pokemon or bounty hunters, the group was a bit on edge.

Unknownst to them, watching safely from the vantage point of some rocks,
far away from the water, a pair of Magma goons continued their reconnisance
of "the runt and the musclehead". Lucky them nobody was paying attention.

Back at the group, the general consensus was that nobody was going to
abandon Alex or commit her to the Verdenturf Asylum. Also, a distraction
was needed, and Dewford Town had just the thing ...

.... well two things actually, but the Gym was considerred a better distraction
than the town's trendy shops

So the group that wanted to go to the gym headed towards it while the others
just did their thing. Jeff wasn't really paying attention to who was going where,
just the Gym. Having passed a book sotre on the way past a tourist shop,
Jeff was now toting a copy of the latest edition of Hoenn For Dummies.
After all, you never know when it might come in useful.

When they reached the gym, it was dark. Pitch black almost, in fact. Sitting
on the wall near the somewhat-illuminated entrance, was a few electric torches.
They gave off a dim light, illuminating a decent, if samll, amount of space around
them. Judging by the torches, they could be adjusted to be made brighter,
but how was a different matter.
