Ok ive been a radeon owner for a long time now and mostly of Sapphire cards.
Now when 8800 GTS 320MB cards are down to $370 here (sweden), i was thinking of getting one.
I have totally given up on the x1950 xt since it is priced at $320-340...
But what manufacturer should i choose?
Ive seen Gainward and XFX selling some cards that differs in price and since i don't find any specs i don't know whats separates them.
Speeds, power consumption and whatnot.

Is it worth another $50-75 to get the bigbrother or should i even get another brand?

It has probably all been posted here on the forums but im way to lazy for trying to find it all =)

Any pointers would be appreciated.

If you game at high resolutions it might be worth it to jump to the 640mb version.

Best manufacturers to buy (IMO) are first: eVGA (Best warranty in the business and Step Up program is cool) second: BFG (great warranty also) third: XFX (best tech support that I have dealt with, good warranty too)

So
XFX GeForce 8800GTS 500M 320MB GDDR3, PCI-Express, 2xDVI/HDTV/HDCP,500/1600Mhz
for about $390
or
XFX GeForce 8800GTS 580M 320MB XXX GDDR3 ,PCI-Express,2xDVI/HDTV/HDCP,580/1800Mhz
for about $530
or
XFX GeForce 8800GTS 500M 640MB GDDR3, PCI-Express, 2xDVI/HDTV/HDCP, 320-bit
for $590

Will the faster card or the 640MB one be that much better or can i get away with a great card with the cheapest?

This site i usually use http://www.komplett.se (Swedish site) priced
EVGA GeForce 8800GTS KO ACS3 320MB GDDR3,HDCP,PCI-Express,2xDVI-I,320bit
at $530 but has no specs for it.

The site has no BFG cards (cheapest about $400) but carry the PSU i want (Seasonic M12 500W, enough?).

And no im not playing above 1280x1024 since my screen can't handle more =/.

So go for the cheap XFX or? =)
