Does it have a vga output at the back or dvi? But anyway I would recommend a viewsonic 19 inch monitor, look for ones with less than 8ms response time.

I would check some benchmarks at different resolutions for that 9550 card if I were you, otherwise you could find that once you got new bigger monitor you also need a new card.
