Hi We are facing a peculiar problem. My company Head office has been connected by PIX 501E and branches by Cisco VPN client 4.0 through Dial up. the Problem is when the users connected the VPNthrough dialup exactly in 10:00 minutes both the vpn and dialup gets disconnected . but when we are not using vpn the dialup is working perfectly. The configurations are all as usual.Any clue for this question?

There is a connection timer for the VPN, I think 10 min is the default value. Some Cisco users should be able to direct you to were this setting is.

On your client, modify existing entry. On the Transport, set Allow Local LAN access to something higher, like 480/600.

You'll have to have whoever works on your PIX change the timeout.

If data doesn't transfer, it can disconnect. Also, it may be set to time out after 10 minutes.

Its a configuration problem and you'll have to contact your Cisco admin.
