Hey Guys. What is the best AGP TV tuner card available out there right now? I just got Windows Vista Ultimate and it has the option to run the video tuner and all, might as well take advantage of it... I do no gaming with the computer, so I do not need a card based on gaming or anything... Please advise.

The only TV tuner card I know of that is agp is the AMD / ATI All In Wonder series which combine tuner and video card. Most TV cards are PCI or USB.

Seeing as you don't play games,I would recommend the ati all in wonder card which utilizes the 9600pro gpu.As I understand it,there is a very limited availability of agp cards.Goodluck.

Do you have a spare PCI-e or PCI slot? If you've already got a decent video card, you should just get an add-in TV tuner. I don't think AIW works that great, and many users on this forum have had problems with them, esp. if you're (going to be) running Vista (which I wouldn't).

Make sure to check that the AIW is compatible with Vista. I don't believe it is. If not you'll have to use a PCI, PCIe or USB tuner. Check here. These are Vista compatible. Many other ones might also work with the XP MCE driver. Mine worked throughout the beta period with the XP driver and now has a Microsoft certified Vista driver.
