I'm going DTV. My research doesn't reveal too many DTV set-top boxes.
Samsung Sir-150 and LG LST-3100A are the only two that I found. Some
article that I read says LG LST-3100A is newer and better than Samsung
Sir-150. Any other DTV receiver on the U.S. market?
Another question, do all HDTV set-top boxes have the capability to
receive DTV if cable or sat is not used? If so, a HDTV does cable and
sat and off-air is even better.

You missed the brand new, cheap one at Walmart...
OTA receiver, w/No DVI by USDTV for $198.00
Try http://www.antennaorg.com with 9 Digit Zip Code
to Find OTA Local HD/Digital channel tower locations.

OTA (Over the Air antenna, QAM Cable, and Satellite
Set top boxes are ALL Different....
Sometimes OTA and Satellite are combined....
Sometimes OTA might also pass unscrambled QAM Cable
Signals....

I just got the LG (with DVD player built in) and am having reception
problems. I don't know if it's the receiver or just my reception in general,
but whether I go over the air or cable, I cannot seem to reliably hold a
HDTV signal.
