I have a new Asus striker extream and am trying to install 2 asus 8800gtx cards with a asus PhysX and a New sound blaster sound card.

The issus is space. The 2 GTX card take 2 slots and cover 1 of the PCI slots that i am needing for either the PhysX or sound card.

Any suggestions?

I will ask u the same question everybody will ask, Why the heck did u buy a PhysX card? 8O

There is no way for the blaster and the physX card to co-exist, one of them has to go (unless u get watercooling for both GTX's)

Unless PhysX are more important than sound (please don't say it is) I would say return the PhysX card, and rely on the two GTX's for the physics calculation. they will even be better when M$ releases directphysics for Vista.

Yes the CPU and both 8800's are going to be watercooled. in a thermaktake kandalf lcs case.

I have allready decided that if i can't get both to work the new SB fatality card stays and the physX goes.

no need for the physX card... the 8800GTX x2 can handle physical calculations just as well. the physx card might actually slow your computer down

-physx was a fad... just like those beanie baby things

pssst where does it say that physx is a fad. Your just implying like your saying how unnecessary the physx is; you did not explain how the 8800 gtx can handle the physics.

a noobie would not understand your reasoning.

get rid of the physx card and maybe one 88gtx.
if you want to run 2 g80,s then you dont need a physx card.
hell you dont need a physx card period.

better have a good psu though

My 8800gtx pwns every game on full. SLI is not a very good investment in my opinion (notice how a single 8800gtx/gts can outperform any 7xxx series card in SLI).

If you have money to burn why not go full SLI when 8900, R600 & 8950GX2 are around the corner

(i hate gx2. i would prolly like the gx2 if there were 2 processors on one board, not 1 processer on 2 boards on one card.)
can anyone say 1 kw PSW lol
