ATI warranty help .

Hi .

I have an Sapphire 512mb x1900xt card , bought from a friend . The card is faulty , it does not always start up . My friend does not have the original invoice anymore .

Now i was wondering , is there any warranty with either Sapphire or ATI themselves ? as i am in new zealand , i don't mind posting this to canada or anywhere . I know with hdd's you can send it back to the manufacturer , is there anything simmilar with displaycards ? or anywhere i can check the warranty status online ?

ANY help will be appreciated .

no i did not , as this is an sapphire card . ati would only support "built by ATI " cards ? or am i mistaken ?

I logged a ticket at sapphire site waiting on feedback from them . Just thought somebody here might have done something like this before .

ATI if I remember correctly is non-transferable warranty. Its on their website.
