Hi I am in the process of overclocking my system, but I have some stability problems. To put my problem simply, my system memory runs fine past 800Mhz, but when my bus speed is raised and I try to use the 667 MHz option (a divider of 6) my system won't post past a certain (240) bus speed, even though my memory is at 800Mhz. Specs are in sig. Right now I am using the 533(8 divider) option. My proc and mobo can reach past 240MHz, and my memory can reach past 800, but even if I drop my CPU multiplier to let it equal 2000(original speed) and 667 option, I can't post, even though my memory would be at less than 800MHz! Am I missing something?

What is your HT link divider?
With a 667 memory divider and a 2.4g oc your ram is runnung at 800Mhz.
I am also having trouble getting past the 2.4g barrier. Im sitting at 2.4g until I learn more about my problem.
CPU multi = x10
HT link = x4
Memory div = 667 (cpu/6) runs memory at 800Mhz
Bus speed = 240Mhz
Stock voltages

My board wont post if i get the ht over 1040 (its a cheap board), so i lower the ht link to x3 and memory div to 533. I up the bus to 250-260 and I can post and boot but I fail orthos within seconds. Memtest runs fine. I tried upping the cpu voltage a little and it didnt help.

Yeah I immediately changed it to 4X before I tried overclocking. I also tried setting back my latencies to 5-5-5-15. Think I will try 3X but I doubt that has anything to do with it.
