I am using a tricool fan on my HR-03.

Using the ATI tool i noticed there is a setting where you can set the fan to run at a certain speed % depending on what the temp is.

My question is...does this work on my tricool fan or is it only for the stock heatsink and fan?

thx

It will run off the card's fan header, is it a 2 pin or 3 pin? Is the fan a 3 pin or 4 pin molex?

nevermind...it's a 3pin and its connected to my motherboard :) If I were to hook it up to my gfx card i still wonder.

What connector is on your graphics card? 2 pin or 3 pin? It may or may not be able to push the voltages needed to spin a fan that isn't the stock fan, not really sure what the x1900xt fan will draw for voltage.
