Hi,

Can people post their clock/temps/case specs it might help those of us trying to decide on cooling etc. Personally, I'm particularly interersted in those with an E4300 and either an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 or a Tuniq Tower 120

thanks!

E4300 with zalman cnps 9700. 3 case fans.

Cpu frequency is 2,9ghz at 1,3375v

Cpu core #0 & #1 - idle 39celcius (TAT)

Cpu core #0 & #1 - load 61celcius(100 % TAT load, measured with TAT)

I just got my new arctic cooling pro freezer 7. Antec 900 with a full fan load out :) currently testing at 333*9 (3Ghz) I have 2 Prime95s running. Core Temp says 39C.

With TAT at 100% load it says 45C.

Asus p5b vanilla. CPU voltage is set to 'auto'. CPU-Z says Vcore is 1.336v.

core temp says my e4300 at full load is a little above 80C right now 8O

I'm really hoping this is related to "(B) E4300 CPU’s may report TAT temperatures offset by +15c and should be disregarded. "

actually I just took the side off of my case and it's down to 67c.
guess I need better fans?

(my clocking's currently at fsb333 mult 9, vcore ~1.42 i forget what exactly) (freezer 7 pro)

I feel my freezer 7 pro, and it doesn't feel warm at all...
it feels about the same temp as before I put it in the computer...
is the freezer 7 not connected correctly?
if I push hard on the freezer 7 towards the mobo, I can get the temp further down to as low as 59c. 8O
and now, without pushing, it's running at a steady 62/63...
I think I'll take that as a yes.

I think you've answered your own questions. Good computer case cooling can not be over-emphasized, and neatness most definitately counts. Let us know what your temps are after you get your cooling issues squared away.

I meant that Core Temp shows 45C when TAT is set at full load. Sorry for being unclear.

I have read that guide before, TAT shows +15C on e4300s i know. Core Temp probably shows less that the true value, but frankly i don't even care. It's over clocked, and it's stable. :)

Thanks anyway.

(B) E4300 CPU’s may report TAT temperatures offset by +15c and should be disregarded.

In your circumstance, Core Temp is not correct, and is offset by -15c. You load temp is would actually be 60c, which is excellent.

Hope this helps.
