Signal in at line in and out through S/PDIF?

I've got an ASUS P5B Deluxe using it's integrated sound card. I've got an analog input signal coming in at the line in and I want to get that signal out on the S/PDIF. How do I do this? I've got the signal coming out at the analog output but I want to use the S/PDIF.

In Control Panel, Sound and Audio Devices, Advanced, Options Tab, then Advanced Controls, there may be an option for SPDIF/digital out only output.
