Subject says it all, I currently have two 7900GT's in SLI and I can run pretty much anything on my 24" in 1920x1200. I don't really like the cards and had to RMA the first two I received, but they work. I am just fishing for opinions on what some of you think; is now a good time to upgrade or since these work, should I just wait it out to see what ATI has to offer next and see what happens in the next few months. Also, if you feel now is a good time to upgrade, please let me know what card(s) you think would make sense to upgrade to.
You dont need to upgrade , your cards are going to be alright to play anything .
Secondly you should wait for the next line of cards like the 8900-8950 and the Ati 600 by that time prices would be down and the market would be more stable
I think you should be fine right now. You'll be able to play any game currently on the market right now with moderate to easy ease. I'm also waiting it out, but I have 2 7900GTX's. When you do decide to upgrade, put those 2 on ebay and see how much you get. That way, that money could go towards your DX10 card.
