when do you think quad cores will reach reasonable prices ($250-500 ish)

Well you can expect to see Core 2 Quad 6600 @ 2.4ghz around $525 in Q2 of this year, and im sure if you search hard enough for find the right deal you will be able to find one around $500 or possibly sub that from somewhere such as ebay!

Q6600 to $531 April 22nd.
Q6400 to $425ish (give or take, can't find the site I originally found that on) some time in June...launch price. (Model isn't even official yet but some people supposedly have ESes of them already.)
Also Xeon 3210 (which is theoretically out but hard to find) is supposed to be at $425 some time in June as well.
