I am using s-video out from my geforcefx
video card. It looks blurry.. I have seen
other computers at computer stores hooked up
to the same T.V. as I have. Are they doing
something different? Perhaps they have a
video card with dvi outputs on it?? I
figured svideo would look better then it
does?

Any advice?

tia

you'll have to use one of the higher end inputs - such as vga or dvi (if you
have them) - even rgb or component may work but will require a converter.
You'll have to kick down the res to be compatible and switch back all the
time. I'm not familiar with the inputs on this set so I can't help you much
more than this.

Probably using Component or DVI output.

I have an ATI, and it allows me to adjust the sharpness to where desktop
text is readable. There are utilities out there for this.

you'll have to look for specific card utils. The ATI has a decent selection
of utilities within it's own drivers. I understand TVTools is one you can
use, but you should be able to get more from your cards manufacturer. You do
have to experiment a bit, I came upon it by accident myself.

There's a lot of info over at avsforum.com regarding using the GWIII with a
HTPC and/or for gaming.
I suggest looking in -
http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/sho [...] did=321968

and you'll find other info in the RP forum

YMMV
