If I put another network card on the pc that has a build-in network adapter, can I set the second one to act as a switch and share connection to another computer? Thanks, I know a hub, switch or a router can do the job but I dont' want it

You sure can!

In Windows, if you have 2 ethernet cards installed then it's a fairly simple matter to setup Internet Connection Sharing within the Network Connections section of the Control Panel.

Play around with it. I bet you can do it on your own if you're asking if it can be done. Let us know if you have anymore questions.

Silly not to use switch. Main reason is that ICS is a major target right now for hackers. Why open yourself up? Switch or router you can find dirt cheap and are very easy to install. If you do go second nic remember if you connect the 2 computers together to use crossover cable.
