I have an epson stylus CX6600 thats on a computer with XP home. I would like to share it to a laptop. I got it all set up on both computers, and when I try to print from the laptop to the printer, it even shows up in the printing que on the desktop, but it hangs at 'printing' and nothing happens

How is the laptop connected to the printer? Is it through your LAN to the desktop which is connected to the printer, or are both computers connected to the printer, one via USB and the other via parallel port? Or are you using a print server?
