I'm seeking a software-player that can play .ts-files.
I only know of the VLC-player that is capable of that.
But VLC-player is "bugged" by two problems: It's slow and i can't make
screencaptures.

Anyone know of any alternatives?

Regards

Morten

Moonlight-Elecard MPEG Player.

http://www.elecard.com/

This is the best one I have found for playing back hi-def .TS files captured
from my cable box via firewire.

thx a lot for the recommendation.
It does indeed play back those .ts files (in good picture quality) and
grab pics too.
But, when it grab pics it seems to degrade the picture-quality! I have no
idea why, but those .BMP files seems be kinda "jaggy" in the edges.
Im using v.2.2 trial, with no codecs or anything extra applied.

Any suggestions?

Regards

There's an option to change the type of deinterlacing....not sure if its in
the trial, if it is you might want to experiment with the various
delinterlacing methods.

That worked! - big thanks man! :D
Now i only have a problem with grabbing pics continously. That is...i can
actually grab the pics, but after having frame-advanced one frame at a
time around 10 times, it halts, where it refuses to do frame advance, for
a couple of minutes :D gets a bit tiresome in the long run, a shame
really, since everything else works so perfect now.
I guess i better have to send an email to the support-team of the
proggie, cos it sounds like a bug to me.

Thanks again.
