For such a high performance system, you'd be faster with an Intel Core 2. But if you're a diehard AMD fan, looks like a good system. Although, I don't know much about individual comparisons of AMD boards and CPUs.

I actually already ordered the PSU and Case, I liked the case because it had more external expansion. And the Pink PSU was cheaper than the other colors, my GF liked it too. Not positive bout the memory other than its mushkin so I know its good.

Also I probably won't overclock at all, just too busy to mess with it and doesn't the AMD proc perform about the same as the E6600 if the both are not overclocked? I'm no AMD super fan, but I do like them and they are half the price expecially when considering the motherboards.

i would have said you could use a little more beef in your psu for a 8800, but it'll probably be fine, however i like to take the sure bet. i agree with the c2duo, i love mine. might also consider 4gb of memory if your running vista, but 2 gig's gets me around fine and maxes out all my games.

I agree with the beefier psu, especially if you plan to add another 8800 down the road.
Great choice on the mobo! :D
Its a solid mobo. Not the greatest overclocker, but it will give you a good mid overclock if you plan to give it a boost later.

Ijust bought two samsung18X DVD burners with lightscribe for $32 each.Whos charging you that much? Also go with a 680i chipset.I build and sell highend SLI machines, and i am telling you that you will be better of with an Intel core 2 duo Iown 3 of these from a OCed E6300 to a OCed E6700 & X6800.I have4 always owned AMD processers,Butafter i bought the X6800,I fiound out just how far behind AMD has fallen. You should really take a better look before buying, and if you do go with a c2d go with a eVGA 122-CK-NF68 board,or a Striker Extreme.I own two eVGA boards and a Striker Extreme that ijust installed yesterday.I found the StrikerExtreme $257 at neweggs open box section.Youcanfind some really grea tdeals there.I have bough all six of my 150Gb Raptor x HDDs there and have never had one problem, and best of all,I never paid more than $198 They all come with full warrantys.AS far as a case, whydont youlook at a CoolerMaster 830.I just picked up an all black one for this build, and it looks amazing. If you want to see a few photos, email me and ill send you a couple. stanj.miranda@comcast.net justremember to put the dot after the j.. Your choice of cards is a good one.Iown two 8800GTS's as well as two 8800GTX's They are the fastest cards cards out there, and in SLI the graphics are truly amazing. You should also go with a 24" LCD the higher resolution comes in handy for gaming as well as the GTS & GTX.I hope some of this helps you out.If you have any questions,or need any help, feel free to email me anytime.
