need new PSU for my new setup

I estimated +12v@~20A from the psu calc so that FSP should work no problem.

But since you have up to $100 you should upgrade to something that can handle at least an 8800gts so maybe something that can handle the 26A demand post-upgrade, you might be better off getting a decent 550w/650w unit like the Antec TP3-550 or the TP3-650 they can be had for under $90 shipped for the TP3-550 and under $110 for the TP3-650.

Those prices make me an Antec/Securemart fanboy :p

Ok you mean the 4-pin ATX12V cpu connector?

The TP3 has that 4-pin cpu connector as well as the new 8-pin connector... pick one and zip-tie the other one out of harms way.

The 3x12v are part of the internal circuitry, think of it as a single virtual +12v source with three branches.

If you want something that's not only a little more reliable but a little cheaper and comes with better components, you could get the Antec NeoHE 550. It comes with Modular cables which are great for making the inside of your case look tidy.

NeoHE for $96.99

It's based on the Seasonic S12 units but it has modular cables so it's like a mix between the S12 and M12. It's a very good unit, ranked Tier 2, whereas the TruePower Trio is ranked Tier 3.

Check the sticky at the top of the forum, "PSU 101" and take 15 minutes to read it.

Check the link to JonnyGuru's tiered PSU listing and Xtremesystems.org's ranked PSU listing, so you can see how the PSU rates up.

Check the Xtremesystems.org list

And also, tier 3 is still high quality. Think of the Tier1-3 list as a list of the best PSU's out there that you should avoid getting anything ELSE of.

The Xtremesystems.org list has NeoHE listed as Tier 2.
