neoHE not work with 965 chipset?!?!?!

I heard a rumor that antec neoHe would not work with 965 chipsets, is this true because I just ordered the gigabyte 965g ds3! Thanks guys

I was told exactly that by two Antec reps, one via the phone and one via email. Here's a thread about that.

Note that I've seen several people with Gigabyte 965 boards report no problems. So, you may be ok. I recently posted this thread talking about choosing a motherboard for my E4300 / Antec NeoHE / etc. build.

I called antec and they said check for a4 serial numbers? Also a blue sticker or no sticker means it should be fine. If it doesnt work they can RMA through them to get you the upgraded models.
