The system will probably serve you fine, but be prepared to get laughed off the planet. You made a big mistake posting it though. Anyways, good luck with your system.....do you really care who likes it, and who doesn't?

First get a good hsf that allows you to get 3Ghz and then start a new thread asking for DS3 bios settings. You'll have more answers

it depends on your resolution and in gfx card. Intel is superior to comparable AMD, but you'll only see differences at lower resolutions. Intel FTW
Intel c2 architecture , not the old crap.

Search the forums to avoid doing such newb questions. 8)

i second intel the 4300 will fly for you pair it with a x1950 pro or 7600gt (which ever you can afford) and youll be laughing (not crying like with the other system ) any chance you could give it back for a refund. or sell it on ebay

ok ok ok, no need for newb questions, str8 to the point, iam playing css with this 2.53GHz celeron d 1gb ddr fx5500. i know this is a piece of shit, but this is what i had before b-camp and was only playing bhd on it. anyway iam only gettin maybe 30-40 fps i know the gpu has alot to do with it, but i do also know its the cpu due to hangups, i get em alot and am able to glitch the weapon pretty easy on a new round, i know thats not right so iam going to set this thing to rest. iam liking what i see in the 8800 gtx, man have things changed since i was last in the game, as you can see i didnt really get alot of time to do anything really, now that iam out, i have alot more time on my hands and need something decent to take that up :D... i dont know how some of u guys do it, my girl is all pissy about it lol... computer science + women= back ache from the couch:D. i have decided to resell it on ebay and hopefully break even... either way, iam gonna get it.

Cases Options:

Centurion 5- Great Case, Have it myself love it
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811119068 $40

Ultra Wizard Black- Good looking case IMO, but its free after MIR
http://shop3.outpost.com/product/5124886?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG $0

Total: $766 (With centurion case)
Leaves you with $234 (or $274 if you go with the free case) left over for a video card in a few weeks.

its a solid setup that takes everything into mind... was writen up for a 1k budget, with 250ish left for a vid card.
one of the x1950's from ATI for dx9(250ish), or one of the 8800gts for dx10(350ish) would be the smart choices.
