The keyboard/mouse problem cited earlier in this group forced me into a
reinstall of Win2k. Since I was about out of space on C: and had 40gb free
on E:, I reinstalled to E:

Now, how can I get the desktop back, IE back with favorites, email
addresses, news groups and other configurations?

Hi "Joey"

All of that stuff is stored in your old user profile (C:\Documents and
Settings\[UserName]), you can restore it by copying it to the directory
containing your new profile (E:\Documents and Settings\[UserName]). Since
you won't be able to do this if you are using your account (i.e. logged in
as yourself) make sure you use the Administrator account to do this.
