Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro - Price Change Much?

Does anyone know why this previously sub $30 cooler more than doubled in price, or am I just seeing things? I used to use these in all of my customers' builds - I'm now forced to use a different third-party cooler, because this thing now costs way more than it's worth. It's a shame too, as I could get any E6300 to run 3.2GHz easy, under 50c, with these...

Don't know why it happens, maybe stock shortage. I bought an AF64Pro (the same thing but for AMD CPUs for $15 and now newegg sells them for even less; $12, so I don't really know what could have happened with the AF7Pro, however, just googled some still sub $30 sites for you:

P.S:Most probably shortages because on many popular sites it was out of stack;AC is also trying to get rid of the AF64Pro, maybe preparing for something new.

Have you tried the Alpine7Pro; not the AF7 but not the stock HSF yet, and it's around $10.

No, I haven't bothered to try any other cooler else because the performance/price ratio of the ACF7Pro... never thought to search outside of newegg/zzf, thanks for the links.

Edit: The second one is back-ordered, but the first one appears to work.

Edit (2): The Alpine doesn't seem to be powerful enough for higher-end processors... however, this one looks promising.
