slight problem i'm hoping you guys can help with!
computer was running slightly slow for last day or so but it was running! left it yesterday and when i came back in wouldnt power up, nothing. unplugging it from the wall for 10 mins or so an for a split second it would start to power up and die.
took the side off the case to check all was ok and tried to fire up again, and the psu shorted, fused by flat and set the smoke alarm off!!
so i'm guessing the PSU is knackered but do you think the rest of the computer will be? is there any way to check?
wasnt even a cheap PSU, was a 580w hiper!
