Is there a reason to spend the extra $35?

I'm looking for a cheap VGA, and the 7600GT appears to be the answer. I was really leaning toward the XFX 7900gs, then I realized I would have also needed a new PSU ($40+) and that's more than I'd have wanted to spend.

So, $85 vs $120 (7900gs is ony $144). Besides the minor clock speed difference (which I'm sure I can get out of the cheaper card) is there any real reason to grab the XFX (besides its cool looks that I wouldn't be able to see anyway)?

No there really isn't a reason. You could easily get those numbers with the Foxconn using Coolbits or NVtune. I used Coolbits on my 6800 in my sig with good and easy reuslts. Added about 10 fps to COD2 (average about 70) and considering it's a P4 system, not too bad.
