Asus P5LD2 SE (Intel 945P) with 4GB DDR2

hello,

sorry for asking this, I've googled a lot and found noone that could manage to get 4gb working with this mobo..

is there anyone out there that pulled this off? I'm using both vista x64 and xp pro x86 and all I get is 3455MB (640 shown as appropriated in the mobo's hardware monitor) so from what i've read it's a chipset limitation

I'm pretty desperate atm as you can see :|

first you need to update to the latest bios from asus. after you have updated go to your system bios. select the advanced tab, then select chipset then set the northbridge memory remap to enable. this will fix your problem. i know this response is over a year to late, but hopefully it will help others in the future. any questions email me
