OK so I got all my parts in today and built my system. I am running everything stock right now before overclocking. Can someone please tell me the best settings to OC for this setup.
1. GA-965P-DS3
2. E4300
3. OCZ 800 DDR2
4. Zalman 9700 LED
5. AS5
6. Enermax 620
7. ATI X1950Pro

I am running Vista x64, so I am not sure exactly what monitoring tools will run with that OS.

Thanks!

I just ran CPU-Z and here are my current readings while running Prime95.

CPU Tab:
Core Speed 3150MHz
Multiplier 9
Bus Speed 350 MHz
Rated FSB 1400 MHz

Memory Tab:
Frequency 350MHz
1:1
5-5-5-14
Command Rate - 2T

Do these readings look ok? Also does anyone know a program that will run on Visa x64 to measure temps like TAT since TAT won't work?

Thanks

Actually I found EVEREST Ultimate Edition. It works great. It is only a 30 day trial though, then it will cost you $30.

Host Frequency: 350
Memory Mult: 2
DDR2 OverV: 0.2v
PCI-E: Normal
FSB OverV: +0.1v
MCH: +0.1v
CPU Voltage: Normal
Vcore: 1.32500v

actually how accurate is that number. it says my idle is 24o C and my 100% with dual primes on my 2.8 overclockis 41o C. that seems alittle low no?

I run around 16C on idle and 42C under full Orthos load. I hope they are accurate! That is the only program I have found to run under Vista so I really don't have anything to compare it to.

Ok here is my issue got my ds3 E4300 over clock running @3.0 for a week now
No problems untill I pluged in my xbox 360 hd dvd drive via usb. when I boot with the xbox HD Dvd powered up my over clock diables and reverts back to 1.8ghz?? When I reset my OC back to 3.0 and unplug the xbox HD DVD all is good. I can plug in the hd dvd player afterI boot and play movies fine. Do you think it a MOBO problem updated to the latest bios
DR3 MOBO v 2
E4300 frys oem
2 gig 667 ST ddr2 ram
crs HX520 PSU
freezer 7pro cpu cooler

Well I have a 6400 and coretemp which probably doesn't run in 64bit vista had my temps 10-15C higher than all others(it's probably right though) given 55C doesn't bother me.
So long as your reasonably low even if it was 10C hotter you probably wouldn't have issues.
