authentication countdown virus

now my friend just got it. the anti-virus i used to clean it out was stinger. and it doesnt work with the new virus. the one that restarts ur pc after 60 secs when a window with the x in a red circle shows up. anyone can gimme a link on how to clean this virus up?

the blaster worm did that to pcs that were never patched. id look there. you do have the patch installed right?

There are two patches from Microsoft you need to install. The first one kind of fixed it but it left holes, the 2nd one fixes the other holes.
You can delete the virus from your computer after installing the patches, but you need to kill the virus from your system resources using the "kill.exe command."
