Ram question Corsair Twin2X 2x512MB DDR2 675 KIT

Hi,

Most of the times I see people talking about 667 MHz memories. These are rated 675MHz.

Is there any real difference with them and 667MHz rams?

I'm just curious on general level, I already have 2 Gs worth of those in my rig (with E6300) and I'm planning to make a slight OC at some point.

Technically, it means the 675 RAM can overclock a little better than 667 RAM. I have the Corsair XMS DDR2 675 RAM in my MSI 975x Platinum. With this RAM I am able to set the FSB to 365MHz. That's not too shabby since that means the RAM is effectively running at 730MHz.

The voltage is set to 2.0v and I had to loosen up the RAM timings to 5-5-5-15.
