when you first setup your drive...
create one partition for either XP or win2k and leave enough free space to
create
your linux partitions
then install XP (or win2k)
next install Linux using the free space
Linux will give you the option to install a boot manager and dual boot
(the exact procedure will vary slightly depending on which Linux distro you
use)
