I recently purchased and XFX GeForce 8800GTS and am wondering if its a dual core. I haven't been able to find any information, and would like to know because my motherboard ( asus a8n32-sli deluxe) can't run 2 dual core GPUs in sli mode. Thanks for any info.

there are no "dual core" gpus, the nearest thing to them is the 7950gx2 which is a dual gpu on two boards, and the asus 7800..something, which is dual gpus on one board.


What is said on ur motherboard means that u can buy another 8800Gts and install it in the other graphics card slot, then link them together using an SLI bridge (provided with the motherboard) and u get from 40% to 70% more performance.

again, there are NO dual core gpus.
