Hey.

I have this board too... with an E6300, no less... and I can't get the thing to OC at all.

I'd really appreciate any help... cause I've heard so much about the E6300 being a crazy clocker and I can't do jack with it..

I use the ECS 945P-A on a D 805 2.66, clocked at 3.3GHz. Don't even bother with clockgen or similar crap, OC from the BIOS.

There are several OC guides on this forum, good ones. I don't know what your BIOSes look like, but just push your FSB up by 5MHz steps, and after each step benchmark/stresstest.

Hope this helps!

P4 OCing guide (applies to the Pentium D as well, as the P4D is 2x P4 cores side by side.
A THG Forumz discussion based around the article linked above.

Hit <DEL> the moment your PC beeps and/or your keyboard lights flash after switch-on. If you're not sure, switch on and immediately hit <DEL> repeatedly. You should then be in the BIOS - look for a menu or submenu referring to your CPU - this is where you'll be spending a lot of time.

Bear in mind I'm still fairly new to the more extreme OCing, with the memory latency settings and voltages and so on - before now the most OC I've done is to bump bus speeds up by 15~30MHz.
