Grand Total: $1,841.90

this total is my rough budget limit.
I'd like to ask those with more experience than me if they see any compatability issues or if there are any bottlenecks. I will be using this computer mostly for gaming but I also do some CAD and I convert a lot of video.

One other thing is that I have some OEM parts in my build should I get more to save money or are there things that people do not recommend buying OEM?

I'm no expert but I would say most experts would not recommend a case with powersupply built in. For what you are getting I think 600w should be your minimum. I recently used this in a build.
Silverstone PSU

Maybe they have the case without psu. But to spend all that money and go cheap on the PSU isn't smart. IMO

You can change the PSU without changing the case, if that's what you mean.

Anyway, I would save $100 on the CPU by getting an e6600, so I could get a 640mb 8800gts, or use it to contribute to a PSU.
You can OC the e6600 to perform better than the e6700.

That PSU will eventually own your ass, either in 2 years, or when you decide to upgrade anything in your PC.

besides, this calc says no

http://web.aanet.com.au/SnooP/psucalc.php

I would trust it more that the "extreme" one you probably used.

I don't understand this build at all...

This computer sucks hardcore for $1800!!! Especially for gaming. You can easily get a dual 8800gtx setup for 1800. Really you could get a computer that performs up to par or better than this one for about 12-1400.

1. First of all get an E6600... that saves you 200 bucks and loses you about 1% in performance.

2. You can get a case for $50 (centurion 5, great case) if you wanna save some money. Or you can get a lot better quality case for $150 (antec P180, antec 900, XCLIO A380BK)

3. Why do you have an 80GB and a 500GB HD? If you're going to do something like that, get a 74GB Raptor for performance and a 500GB for storage.

4. These 2 memory kits are way better and cheaper than what you have picked out.

Super Talent DDR2 800 (4-4-3-8)

G.Skill DDR2 800 (4-4-3-5)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231114\

5. You need a good PSU. I would suggest one of these.

Antec Trio 650W $99 after MIR

OCZ 700W $130 after MIR
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817341002

6. You could get a motherboard for cheaper than that that would work great, but I'm not sure what features you want etc.

7. Here is a 20.1" sceptre LCD with better specs for only 20 more bucks

Hope this helps.

I took most of your advice except for a few things that I want to have. See what you think.

the 80g hd is for OS only. I don't want to pay extra for a 10k RPM hd
I want a mobo with quad core support for when I feel the need to upgrade
Case changed cuz this one is TIGHT and it doesnt come w/ psu
8800 gts cuz gtx are way 2 expensive

A FEW Q's
i changed RAM cuz others were out of stock are these still ok??
Does the new lcd support 1080p?

Well the way I see it is that if you need to wipe your OS because of a system bug or virus Its best to have the OS on a different drive so you don't have to erase all your data too. you can also do with with a separate partition but I prefer 2 drives for organizational purposes
