Sony plasma repair hints?

Our 3 year old Sony plasma PFM-42B1 screen emitted a loud 'snap' the other
day, and the picture went dark. Have been looking around for a repair shop,
but in the meantime removed the back panel just to see if there was anything
obvious (fuse?). The 2 fuses appear to be fine. Man, I've never seen so
much circuitry! Anyway, the point of the post is to see if there are any
brave hobbyists willing to offer suggestions on what to look for or how to
troubleshoot?
