hello... i upgraded all my hardware on my pc except for the HDD: the specs before the upgrade are as follows:

Radeon 9800 pro
asus p4 mobo
intel p4 2.8ghz
1gb DDR ram pc3200

and after

Athlon 64 x2 socket am2 5000+ 2.6ghz
Xfx Geforce 7900 Gt
1gb ddr2 533mhz
Asus m2n4-sli

i didnt change my HDD since i thought a Seagate 120gb IDE is enough for my pc and didnt have the budget to change it.. after i built the new system everything works properly except when windows starts loading, it prompts and error regarding new HDDs...
Note: i didnt change any settings on the HDD before or after the new upgrade..

i would really appreciate any help i can get to solve this problem.. THanks in advance :(

You need to reinstall Windows when you change motherboards (and major changes in CPUs such as yours), since Windows installs hardware-specific info (the HAL) when you install it. A full reinstall from scratch is best, but you can try a "repair install". You may have to reinstall your apps.

^^^ seconded. Try repair install 1st. if no dice, do a clean install.

You should've removed the previous mobo & video drivers before your final shutdown.
