SP4 install rollback failure

Hi,

Machine was running Win2k Advanced Server SP3. Did a SP4 install from
windowsupdate (with backup of existing files) which failed with 'Out
of Resources'. Was then prompted to commence a rollback to SP3, which
also failed! Machine now boots to almost the login prompt then
reboots and is stuck in that cycle.

Ideas??
