Wondering if it is possible to hook up your front panel audio jacks on your case to the X-Fi ?

Problem is Creative cards support only HD-Audio and most of frontpanels support only AC97 standard.

I believe it is possible to get some kind of limited audio there, but I don't know how.

Atleast when my mobo was set up for HDAudio, the front panel sound worked somehow, but mic didn't.

well I have Intel Azalia, AC'97, and an HD audio cable plugins for front panel audio in my case, but there doesn't seem to be a place to plug it in. I'm assuming it's not possible, but maybe someone would have a solution.
