Guys, ive been OCing my E6300 on a EVGA nForce680i MB and have become unstable past 2.911 GHz (1664 MHz FSB). 2.911 is stable at CPU Core=1.27v, CPU FSB=1.3v. When bumping up CPU FSB Freq to 1684, i get warning at bootup saying "warning! system is now is safe mode. Please reset CPU or Memory Frequency in the CMOS setup.
Would increaseing the voltage eliminate this problem? What do you think is the max voltage before smoking? I am liquid cooled and the temp is staying around 25 C!
I have not overclocked the RAM, it is DDR2 800 and the clock mode is unlinked, would up this help me?
