Have had zero luck getting the install monitor to work.
It can be found here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows20 [...] kit/tools/
existing/instaler-o.asp

The help is clear enough, however, each and every time I
attempt to run this at a win2k command prompt I get the
msg "QueryDosDevice( NULL ) failed (122).

The usual suspects of bad typing or path names having
seemingly been exhausted, am wondering if anyone out there
has used this utility with win2K?

Need more specific information. What command are you typing? What are you
trying to accomplish? Try uninstalling and reinstalling to the default
directory, if you haven't already.
