I've heard Hitachi is supposed to have a bunch of new LCD RPTV's coming out
called the "Cineform", I think. At any rate, they're supposed to have
CableCard and all that and I want to know if anyone's heard when they're
coming out or even what they'll look like? I'm assuming it'll be around
Sept., since that's when Sony is releasing theirs.

Suppose to have ATSC tuner also. Along with a USB port for flash drives to
hook up for slide shows. Also the usual HDMI connections. I think it's the
810/815 series. Also heard about a 9XX series, I think. Even the 7XX series
will have all the above. The 8XX series and above will have a proprietary
lense system that will give you the most screen size to chasis size ration.
Meaning that there will be no bulky bottom like the current Hitachi's,
Sony's and everyone else has.

I saw an ad and checked their website. They'll have a 70" model but I couldn't
find any detailed specs. Certainly sounds good. Supposed to convert everything
to 1080p. Found one dealer quoting $6699 for the 70" when available. I'd want
to see some reviews and owner experience before buying but the technology sounds
great.
