Ok so I just got a Linksys WRT54GS, as my old router packed it in. I had no problems with my old Linksys except for that fact it died 
I have no real use for the wireless function of the router, so I turned that off. I bought a wireless router to furute proof as I plan on getting a laptop. Anyways on to my problem:
The router will just drop connection to all computers on the network at random times. Sometimes it will occur just once a day, but like today it will happen 5-8 times a day. The connection drop is only for a second or two but it is enough to lag me out of Ventrilo and drop connection to any chat programs aor video games I may be playing.
Is this a problem with the router in general?
Was this router DOA?
I have the letest firmware and it doesnt help at all...
If anyone could shed some light on this problem for me that would be awesome.
