can my Tagan Easycon 430W (20a per 12v rail & 26a combined) handle one of the 320mb 8800GTS's?
also my PSU has a switch on the back for combined & splitted, when would i use this & what scenarios (hardware) are applicable?
thanks

Your cutting it close - depending on DVD burners, soundscards, and other wattage sucking extras. Depends on the brand of 88GTS 320 also- for example BFG calls upon 425 watts and 28 amps while EVGA prefers 400 watts and 26a. Either way, it's always good to have a few amps of headroom; wattage headroom for a hardware loaded system.

System instability, crashes, BSOD, Freezing and possibility of PSU failyer. If the PSU fails then it could damage other system parts.

you got me seriously paranoid now!
only bought this a month ago & paid £20 extra for saturday next day delivery
(i take it this is ample for my XFX GF7600GT XXX though?)

That supply only has max output of 21A where as my Tagan has 26A but "mpilchfamily" doesn't recommend it under 30A for an 8800GTS 320mb
